Andrew Robinson
Andrew Robinson is an artist, activist, and technology
consultant with expertise in graphic and interactive design.
He received a Master of Fine Arts from the School
of Visual Arts and a Bachelors of Fine Arts from the
Maryland
Institute College of Art. In 1990 he studied ceramic
sculpture at the Glasgow
School of Art, in Scotland.
He is an adjunct faculty member of the Parsons
School of Design in the design and management program.
He is also an Interaction Design Director at the design
firm R/GA
where he has worked with clients such as the New York Stock
Exchange, Bank of America and Lowe's. Prior to joining RGA
he was Vice President of Interaction Design for Citigroup
where he worked on the redesign strategy for North American
financial services websites.
He is also active in the art and technology community working
with artists, exhibiting at museums and galleries, and speaking
at conferences such as the Living Surfaces Conference at
the American Center for Design. He is a regular contributor
of art criticism to Gay
City News.
Mr. Robinson maintains a studio in New York City and works
on various projects at acrStudio.com.
