Community Guidelines
Guidelines for the the free exchange of ideas, and points
of view on community tools at the Foucault Society.
Here are a few simple but important guidelines for using
the community tools at foucaultsociety.org.
- Don't be afraid to ask questions. We welcome the free
exchange of all ideas as they may relate to the ideas
and works of Michel Foucault
- If you are new to ideas of Michel
Foucault, acquaint yourself with the basics by visiting
our Resources.
- Ensure your contribution, comments and exchanges are
clearly written.
- Keep your comments on topic, in the right category,
and with a descriptive title.
- Wherever possible provide arguments in defense of your
claims.
- Be courteous. Critique the argument, not the person.
Posts containing inappropriate dogmatic rants, advertising,
spam, pointless profanity and insults, personal attacks,
racial slurs, etc. are not welcome and may be deleted at
the descretion of Foucault Society moderators. You may report
abuses here.
