  • April 15th (Pages 370-391) -- "Madness and Society" and "What is an Author?" Group Leader: Jacob Daniels

  • April 22nd (Pages 392-422) -- "On the Archeology of the Sciences: Response to the Epistemology Circle." Group Leader: David Lane

  • April 29th (Pages 423-457) -- "The Thought of the Outside" and "A Preface to Transgression." Group Leader: David Lane

  • End of Book - we will continue the reading group in the summer with a book yet to be determined. Feel free to send suggestions.


  • Group Leader(s): Will rotate among experience group members.


  • Meet weekly on Tuesdays at NYU Center for Social and Cultural Analysis, 41 East 11th Street, Room 728. (If you arrive late and cannot get past the security door, please call Kevin Holley on his cell 917-721-3829 and he will come out and let you in.

  • Sessions start at 6:30pm.

  • Feel free to bring a beverage - cups and a bottle opener will be supplied.
